Rolwaling is a stunning climbers' paradise located in Nepal's Gaurishankar municipality and the Rolwaling Himal. It is a bit challenging to undertake this trek. The local Sherpa community calls Rolwaling as the grave because of its location that lies laden with snow. The trek would present you with some amazing views of small villages and the Sherpa community, whom you can interact with. For many adventurers, Rolwaling trek becomes even more special due to the sunrise over the peak of Gaurishankar that gives a jewel-like appearance.     DAY 1

    Arrival In kathmandu and you will be transferred to the accommodation. Lunch /dinner follows. If time permits, you can explore the city or just relax.

    DAY 2

    We start early after breakfast in the vehicle for Simigaun. Rest for the day in accommodation.

    DAY 3

    We start our trek from Simigaun to Donggang with breaks in between. The landscape is superb and we will rest after dinner, so that we get an opportunity for acclimatisation.

    DAY 4

    After breakfast, we start our trek to Beding, which takes close to two hours. We will break for lunch upon our arrival at Beding.

    DAY 5

    It is the rest day in Beding, so that we get used to the weather and altitude. Relax and enjoy the vistas.

    Today, we trek from Beding to Na and enroute one can check out the lush vegetation, scenery and waterfalls. “Na” in the local Sherpa language refers to a holy place.

    DAY 7

    We will visit Tsho- Rolpa lake which is the largest glacial lake, enjoy the views and later return to our accommodation in Na village.

    Transfer to Kathmandu airport for flight back home.

  • Insulated heavyweight jacket with hood.
  • Thermos and water bottles with 2L capacity.
  • Plastic food friendly bowls and spoons along with disposable eco friendly glasses for beverages.
  • Balaclava for the protection of face and skin against wind.
  • A hat or cap, snow goggles, sunglasses
  • Lightweight synthetic gloves, liner gloves and leather gloves.
  • Synthetic and liner socks (3 pairs)
  • Mountaineering boots, hiking boots.
