Overview

Manaslu is the world's eight highest mountain that attracts a lot of mountaineers, and is located near the border of Managa and Gorkha district of northern Nepal. Did you know that Manaslu refers to the mountain of spirit. It was first climbed on May 9, 1956 by members of a Japanese expedition. The trek route begins from the popular salt route situated alongside the Budhi Gandaki river. It is worth noting that the Manaslu range encompasses several high passes, such as Larkya pass that stands at 5106 m, which provides some amazing views of the peaks and glaciers nearby.

    DAY 1

    Arrival in Kathmandu. You will be transferred to the comfortable hotel. You can relax.

    DAY 2

    After breakfast, we shall be checking the gear and later embark on a sightseeing.

    DAY 3

    After breakfast, fly from Kathmandu to Samagaon (3500 m / 11500 ft). We will stay in a lodge for the night.

    Acclimatisation hikes

    After breakfast, we shall trek to Manaslu base camp (4800 m / 15750 ft.) that takes 6 hours to cover a distance of 6 km.Lunch and dinner is served at the Manaslu base camp.

    We will get a good grip on the training and acclimatise well.

    The day we have been all waiting for. We start very early for the summit, which takes 7 hours. After checking out the majestic views from the summit of Mnaslu, we will gradually descend to camp 2.

    After a night's rest & breakfast, we descend to base camp.

    Time to head back to Samagaon from the base camp that takes 8 hours.

    From Samagaon we head to Soti Khola

    The vehicle will transfer us from Soti Khola to Kathmandu in 5 hours.

    We transfer you to the Tribhuvan International airport for the departure back home.

  • Thermos and water bottles with 2L capacity.
