Tanzania, an east- African country is one one of the most visited countries in Africa, spread over an area of 945,375 sq.km, thus giving it the 13th position in Arica. Dodoma is the capital of Tanzania and Dar-es-salaam being the largest city, is well connected by most international flights to and from Europe, Middle east, other African nations and India. You will be transferred from Kilimanjaro International airport to Moshi,for accommodation. The guide will then review the gears.
After a filling breakfast, we will drive to the village of Nare Molu. It is the starting point for our hike. Once we are there we will begin our hike for the Simba camp(2625 m), which is also our stay for the night.
After a refreshing sleep, we will have a quick breakfast and start early for the Kikelewa camp. Once at this site, you start to feel the elevation at an altitude of 3679 m.
For better acclimatisation, we will head to Mawenzi camp at 4300 m and rest for the day.
Kibo hut will be our point of stay and rest after a good five hour hike and sleep early after meals and wake up at midnight for Uhuru peak.
An early start where we aim for Uhuru peak, situated at 5895 m and it would take us close to six to eight hours to reach. Ultimately, Fantastic views the best gift that nature provides you with. We start our descent to the Hut that would take five to six hours. Then head further down towards Horombo hut, which takes six hours.
Time to reach Marangu gate and from there to the accommodation.
