Overview

The Mustang valley has sort of hid itself from the rest of the peaks in Nepal due to the restricted areas. It falls under the Gandaki province, Nepal. The lower Mustang is famous for its scenic landscapes while the upper Mustang is popular for monasteries (most of which are 1000-1200 years old), tribes and caves. The upper Mustang region celebrates two important festivals namely, Tiji and Yartung. It can be also mentioned that Mustang is a trans- Himalayan region that lies between Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri. Did you know that Mustang has a rich culture, where people belong to special ancient groups such as Bista, Sercheng, Gurung, Bhote and Thakali. Come and explore the beauty of Mustang valley with K1 Adventures.
