Overview

Ama Dablam is amongst the most preferred expeditions where there is a push to the adrenaline levels. Due to its terrain and accessibility, Ama Dablam is often the choice of climbers who intend to take their mountaineering skills to an advanced level. The notoriously difficult and sharp ridges pose a huge challenge to mountaineers. The mountain was first climbed in 1961 by Mike Gill, Barry Bishop, Mike Ward and Wally Romanes through the south-west ridge. Ama means mother and Dablam means “ Necklace” as viewed from Tengboche. With professional guides and staff, embark on this breathtaking adventure with K1 Adventures.
