The Parchamo peak lies to the south of the Tesi Lapcha pass, and can be mainly accessed through the Rolwaling valley. It is refreshing to feast on the beautiful views that it offers of Mt. Everest, Mt.Langtang and Mt. Gaurishankar. Parchamo peaks was first climbed in 1955 by Dennis Davis and Phil Boltbee. It is incredible to know that the ridge of Parchamo offers some unbelievable views of Cho-Oyu, Ama Dablam and Thamserku and as result has stolen the hearts of many climbers and mountaineers over the years.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel. You can choose to relax or explore the city.
We will be heading from Kathmandu to Singati (960 m / 3150 ft.) by bus, which takes 6 hours. Overnight accommodation at lodge in Singati.
From Singati we trek to Simigaun (2084 m / 6837 ft.) which takes 6 hours. We will stay in Simigaun for the night.
After breakfast, we will trek from Simigaun to Gongar, which takes 7 hours and rest for the night in the accommodation.
Time to head from Gongar to Beding (3720 m / 12000 ft.) which takes 5-6 hours. We will be staying for the night in a lodge in Beding.
Rest day at Beding
We will trek from Beding to Na village (3943 m / 12900 ft.), which takes 2-3 hours
This morning we will make our way from Na village to Tsho Rolpa camp (4580 m / 15,026 ft.). This is a beautiful glacial lake and will be staying in a camp accommodation.
A new beautiful day begins where we will set off for Trakarding glacier base camp (4700 m / 15420 ft.) from Tsho Rolpa camp, which takes 5 hours. We make our climb gradually due to the presence of loose rocks and soil in the region. We will have lunch, enjoy the surroundings and pitch in for the night in camp accommodation.
The weather is unpredictable at such altitudes. Today we will carefully make our way from Trakarding glacier base camp to Pharchamo base camp, which takes about 5-6 hours. This will be the gateway to the Pharchamo peak. Upon arrival, we rest in the camp accommodation and sleep early.
We will trek from Pharchamo base camp to Pharchamo high camp (5500 m / 18044 ft.) that takes close to 4 hours. The trek will be filled with snow and winds. We shall settle in in our tented accommodation upon reaching Pharchamo high camp.
This will be an important day for us, as we will be beginning our journey to the summit (6187 m / 20298 ft.) of Pharchamo mountain via Tashi Lapcha (5750 m / 18860 ft.). We shall begin the trek around 4 in the morning that will take approximately 4-5 hours to scale the summit, before making our way back to the base camp for the night stay.
Today we will trek from base camp to Ngole (5100 m / 16730 ft.), which is a small yet popular campsite in Nepal. This trek will take about 5 hours with some refreshing views of the landscape. The night will be spent in camp accommodation.
This morning it’s time to head to Thame (3800 m / 12460 ft.) (in Namche), which takes about 4 hours. This region is spectacular because of its landscape. On a clear day one can see Ama Dablam from a distance.
It’s time to trek from Thame to Namche bazar, which will take 6 hours. We will be staying for the night at accommodation in Namche Bazar.
We will be trekking from Namche to Lukla, in 5 hours and later spend the day in Lukla.
The flight will be taking us from Lukla to Kathmandu, which is completed in 35 minutes
Rest day in Kathmandu.
You will be transferred to the Tribhuvan international airport, Kathmandu in preparation for your departure
