Pisang peak(also known as Jong Ri) is a pyramidal peak located in the Manang district of Nepal, which lies in the Annapurna range. The first expedition to Pisang peak took place in 1955 by a German team. The entire experience gets filled with breathtaking views of pastures of the Pisang village, flora and the woods, Annapurna region and Dhaulagiri. For many, it’s a must to-do Peak in Nepal.
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel for the accommodation
After breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (850m /2,790ft) which takes 5 hours. Rest for the night
Drive early from Besisahar to Bahundanda (1310 m/ 4398 ft) in a vehicle. Lunch, dinner and accommodation included.
After breakfast, we trek from Bahundanda to Chame (1430 m / 3690 ft.) which gets covered in 5-6 hours. We will stay at a tea house for the night
After an early breakfast, we will trek from Chame to upper Pisang (3700 m / 12136 ft.) that will take 5-6 hours. Night stay will be in camp accommodation
Day exclusively for acclimatisation and rest
Time to trek towards Pisang base camp (4380 m / 14370 ft.), which takes 4 hours. The night will be spent in the camp accommodation
We will be trekking towards Pisang high camp (5400 m / 17712 ft.), that is covered in 4 hours.
Will begin around midnight for Pisang peak summit (6091 m / 19983 ft.) and later descend to the base camp, which takes 8 hours. Night stay at the camp accommodation
